Our doctors work at Wall Street Medical Group clinic and they also provide care at several other sites within the Saskatchewan Health Authority, including hospitals and outpatient settings.
Jim Pattison Children's Hospital
All hospital care for pregnant women in Saskatoon occurs at the Maternal Care Centre, on the third floor of Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital (JPCH). If you are having a baby or you need emergency care related to your pregnancy, it would be at this hospital. Our Obstetricians share the work of being “on call” with the other Obstetricians in Saskatoon. JPCH is also where our gynecologists perform pelvic surgeries for teenagers and children.
Saskatoon City Hospital
This is the location for most elective gynecologic surgeries in Saskatoon. Many of our surgeries are “day surgeries,” meaning you would be discharged home after your surgery. If you need to stay in hospital after your surgery, it would be on the third floor of Saskatoon City Hospital.
Women's Health Centre at Saskatoon City Hospital
Our gynecologists perform outpatient surgical procedures in the Women’s Health Centre (WHC), on the main floor of Saskatoon City Hospital. We also see patients for colposcopy appointments at WHC. Additionally, WHC is home to the Pelvic Floor Pathway, the Women’s Mid-Life Health Program, Midwifery, and the Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic.
Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic at Saskatoon City Hospital
This is where people receive care for early pregnancy complications, such as bleeding in pregnancy, miscarriage, or early pregnancies that could be possible miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. Our gynecologists work in the Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic (EPAC) to help provide these services. EPAC is also where patients can self-refer for medical and surgical abortions under 14 weeks gestation. Patients can call 306-655-7637 to seek care at EPAC.
Royal University Hospital
Our gynecologists perform surgeries at Royal University Hospital (RUH). Some of these surgeries use the da Vinci Surgical System to complete complex laparoscopic surgeries robotically.
St. Paul’s Hospital
Our gynecologists perform surgeries at St. Paul’s Hospital (SPH). Some of these surgeries use the da Vinci Surgical System to complete complex laparoscopic surgeries robotically. Usually, if you have laparoscopic surgery at SPH, you would be discharged home after your procedure.
Prairieview Surgical Centre
Our gynecologists perform surgeries at Prairieview Surgical Centre (PSC). Typically these are day surgeries, and you would be discharged home after your procedure. PSC is accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. This is a private surgical facility but procedures here are funded through the public system, to offload routine day surgeries and free up hospital OR space for complex surgeries and sicker patients. You may have a shorter wait time by having your surgery at PSC. Your surgery at PSC meets all criteria for standards of care and is done by your specialist surgeon with an accredited anesthesiologist and nursing team. Surgeries at PSC continue to operate through the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
Humboldt District Health Complex
Our gynecologists do outpatient clinics and perform surgeries at Humboldt District Health Complex. These clinics and surgeries serve patients from both the Humboldt catchment area and Saskatoon. If you have surgery in Humboldt, it would be a day surgery and you would be discharged home after your procedure. Sometimes your wait time could be shorter if you are open to having your surgery in Humboldt. Humboldt operates as part of the previous Saskatoon Health Region; it is under the same umbrella as the hospitals in Saskatoon.
